Card service terms
Conditions relevant to AutoCard applications, funding, spending and cardholder support.
01Service agreement & acceptance
This page explains the service-specific conditions relevant to an OnionPay enquiry. It is not a complete account or transaction agreement and does not itself authorise a payment, establish custody or promise approval. The identified provider must accept your application and supply the agreement, fees and operating conditions applicable to the service before you use it.
Mandatory law prevails. The accepted product agreement sets the document hierarchy; a transaction confirmation records the agreed transaction particulars and does not silently amend wider contractual protections. These website conditions bind a provider as product-contract terms only if expressly incorporated into the agreement accepted by that provider and customer.
02Issuer, programme & eligibility
AutoCard is the linked product destination. Identify the card issuer, programme operator and contracting entity before applying. A product page is not evidence that OnionPay is the issuer or that a particular card is available in your location. Eligibility, residency, age, verification, supported uses and permitted cardholders are determined under the relevant programme.
03Funding & digital assets
Use only funding methods, assets, networks and addresses confirmed by the provider. Sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network may cause loss. Digital-asset transfer, conversion and card spending are separate stages; a completed transfer does not establish that a card balance is available. Review fees, custody, conversion timing and withdrawal conditions before funding.
Digital assets can fluctuate in value and some transfers cannot be reversed. No deposit-insurance, bank-deposit or custody protection is asserted by this website for a card balance or digital asset. Any actual safeguarding or protection must be established by the relevant issuer or custodian’s agreement and applicable scheme rules.
04Card use, authorisations & charges
Keep card details and authentication credentials secure and allow use only by an authorised cardholder. Merchant acceptance, spending limits, supported categories, currency conversion, recurring charges and any cash access depend on the programme. Review the fee schedule, including any issuance, funding, transaction, conversion, inactivity or closure charges that actually apply; this list does not state that every such charge exists.
An authorisation may reserve funds before final presentment, and the final amount may differ where programme and merchant rules permit. A merchant refund, card reversal and chargeback follow different procedures. Use the provider’s account records to reconcile the final amount and available balance.
05Lost cards, unauthorised use & disputes
Use the issuer or programme’s official controls to freeze or report a lost card or compromised credential promptly. The OnionPay enquiry form cannot freeze a card, reverse a charge or provide emergency account support. Follow the applicable reporting and evidence requirements without assuming a universal deadline or guaranteed chargeback outcome.
Responsibility for unauthorised transactions depends on applicable law, the programme agreement and the facts, including relevant safeguards and conduct by each party. This webpage does not impose unlimited cardholder liability or remove issuer investigation, correction or refund duties.
06Restrictions, expiry & closure
Restrictions, expiry, renewal and closure follow the programme terms and law. The provider should explain, where legally permitted, outstanding authorisations, recurring-payment consequences, fees and how any redeemable balance is returned. Closing a card does not itself cancel a contract with a merchant or erase an existing debt.
07Responsibility, complaints & changes
A customer must take reasonable care with instructions and credentials, but an error does not automatically make the customer responsible for every resulting loss. Liability, corrections and redress are determined by applicable law, the accepted agreement and the circumstances, including any provider error. Nothing on this page excludes fraud, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or mandatory consumer rights.
Use the contracting provider’s official support channel for a live transaction or account issue. Send concerns about this website or our involvement to the complaints contact below, with the reference and relevant facts. A complaint does not prevent access to a court or competent authority and does not extend a statutory or contractual deadline. Material service changes, closure and dispute arrangements follow the accepted agreement and law, not merely an update to this webpage.
